Installing
Setting up the first time
Since WorkWell uses your camera to read your posture, your system may show a security prompt the first time you open it. That's expected. Follow the steps for your device below and you'll be set up in under a minute.
- 1Open the downloaded .dmg file.
- 2Drag the WorkWell icon onto the Applications folder shown next to it.
- 3Eject the WorkWell disk image, then open WorkWell from your Applications folder. Opening it straight from the disk image can stop it launching.
- 4The first time you open it, macOS shows a security check titled “WorkWell” Not Opened or saying “Apple could not verify WorkWell…”. This is a standard macOS step for apps that use your camera, not a problem with WorkWell. Click Done (not Move to Bin).
- 5Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the Security section, and click Open Anyway next to WorkWell. Confirm with Touch ID or your password.
- 6macOS shows one last confirmation with an Open button - click it, and WorkWell launches. From now on it opens like any other app.
- 7When you start posture tracking, click Allow on the camera prompt. Video is analyzed on your device and never leaves it.
You only do this once. Every launch after the first is a single click.
